My Sunday morning routine begins at the South Melbourne Market.

I often spend hours browsing the stalls and alleys discovering the weird and wonderful items on offer, in the hope of coming across that something special for my kitchen.

We are spoilt for choice and I revel in it.

Individual truffle, black garlic, whole baby cauliflower, handmade chorizo sausage, cheeses from all over the world, grains to support every diet and desire, duck, pork belly, honey, free range eggs, sprouts and garnishes in all shapes, sizes and colours. 

Each trip to the market is a learning experience. The suppliers are so proud of their product. Their years of expertise and the intense passion that they impart is exciting. They inspire me to cook. They inspire me to be just as passionate about my love for food and my dreams to achieve.

I fill my trolley with fresh goods for the week ahead, select some freshly cut flowers and head home to prepare something scrumptious...
